On April 1, 2009 students from Pflugerville High School got a chance to experience college at the University of Texas at Austin. Students had work critiqued by graduate students and got a chance to view studio space at the Art building. After walking across campus we experienced the Harry Ransom Center. The very first photograph was on display and truly was a treat for students and the chaperones. Our last stop after lunch was the outdoor area at the Palmer Events Center in Austin. Students had an assignment called “Earth, Air, Water, and Fire.” Students spent their time capturing the elements and enjoying the outdoors.
